Anne Washburn’s play Mr. Burns: A Post-Electric Play explores life after a nuclear meltdown. Split into three acts, the cast portrays a group of survivors who become a theatre troupe portraying comedies for other survivors to earn a living. As the time passes, the stories they portray become more and more warped until the third act where the cast portrays an episode of The Simpsons with eery differences.
